We are very excited to announce that Mrs Jacqueline Woodley, Head Teacher of Mathematics at Kincumber High School, will be visiting our Stage 3 classrooms later this term. This is a partnership initiative with Kincumber High School and will provide our respective schools with a deeper understanding of the expectations in the teaching and learning of mathematics with the aim of enhancing the transition to high school for our students.
Most of our Stage 3 students are already familiar with Mrs Woodley as she is the teacher coordinating the Stage 3 Edmodo mathematics group. This will be an excellent opportunity for the students to meet Mrs Woodley in person as well as to benefit from her specialist teaching experience in mathematics.
Mrs Woodley will attend a session in each of the Stage 3 classrooms during the regular mathematics lessons in Weeks 6, 8 and 10 this term.
A big thank you goes to Mrs Woodley and the Stage 3 teachers for their commitment and organisation in providing this wonderful learning experience for our students.
