ABPS Run Club!

As we approach the end of our first semester of 2024,  we wanted to share some highlights from the first year of the Avoca Beach Public School Run Club!

We have had nearly 75% of students from school attend at least one Run Club session this year! Each Friday, teachers and students meet at Heazlett Oval and walk, chat and run for 30 minutes. Our wish for students has been to have a go and try to run a little bit further each week.

The response from our community has been outstanding with many familiar faces coming along weekly and families still jumping on board even this week! Students and teachers have shared the track with parents and pets, all looking to start the end of the week off with fresh air and good company.
