Australian Principal Appreciation Day

On Friday 7^th August 2020, we celebrated Australian Principal Appreciation Day and our fantastic Principal Mr Thomas. Mr Thomas has made a great impact on the children and staff at ABPS and this was really evident in how everyone reacted to showing him some appreciation. Every class in the school were involved in making a video about what we like about Mr Thomas. 4A went even further with Mrs Coleman to make a song about him. They wrote the lyrics and recorded it for him – very clever children. Please find the video on our school website.

The video was played for the whole school at our Assembly where a group of our student leaders presented Mr Thomas with a Merit Award. On behalf of the children and teachers at Avoca Beach PS, we thank you for everything you do for us Mr Thomas. We are very lucky to have you.
