The Avoca Beach Public School Olympics was on the 22nd of September. Everyone in the school was organised into countries before the day. On the day, we got into our country teams and began the activities.
The activities were games on the top playground, we played relays with the hoola hoops and skipping. We also played a Kahoot trivia in the classrooms, and ball games in the hall.
It did not matter if you come in last place, it just mattered if you had fun and that you did your best. If you know that you did your best, you know your friends and family will be proud of you and you should be proud of yourself too.
The school olympics were really exciting because everyone was having fun and talking about it. We want to thank the sports captains and the SRC for organising the teams and running the games. We also want to thank Mr Wright for organising the whole event.
We all want to do it again next year, we don't want to have to wait for four more years!
