Headstart is a 5 week program offered to Preschool aged children to are intending to enrol in Avoca Beach Public School in 2013. It provides a fabulous opportunity for teachers, parents and children to become familiar with school routines, buildings and staff. It also offers a great opportunity for teachers to observe students in a school setting. This also includes our Orientation information day for parents on November 16th 9:30-11:30am in the school hall.
The cost is $40 for the 5 week program.
Where: Parents bring their child to the Music Room (FSU), parents are invited to stay for a coffee/tea and meet the Principal in the staff room during this time.
When:
- Friday 19th October, 9:30-11:30am
- Friday 26th October, 9:30-11:30am
- Friday 2nd November, 9:30-11:30am
- Friday 9th November, 9:30-11:30am
- Friday 16th November, 9:30-11:30am
What to bring:
- Children are to wear play clothes
- Bring morning tea, and a hat in a small bag
